Profile

I am a professional guide, mainly guiding in Kyoto, Osaka, Nara, Kobe, Himeji, Hiroshima as well as Ise. After graduating from university in Kobe, I have worked for foreign airlines for 15 years. During those years when I visited a country, I regularly joined a local sightseeing tour. The guides there were very enthusiastic to explain all kinds of things about their country to us foreign visitors. This experience made me think about the charm of my own country. Afterwards I worked for a couple of commercial companies. It was then that I realized I was actually more attracted to working with people. So in 2009 I obtained a national guide license to be able to introduce the attractiveness of Japan to people from around the world.  My motto is to give you information about not only what you see at the sights themselves but also their background, history, traditions, together with spirituality which is very much alive and present in Japanese life. Let me help you to make your stay more enjoyable by getting a better understanding of this mysterious country.
